ArtScience Museum: choose the exhibition, then the ticket
The lotus-shaped building is easy to recognise, but the visit is defined by its current exhibitions. Choose one that genuinely interests your group before deciding whether a multi-exhibition ticket is worthwhile.

Start with the programme
ArtScience Museum combines art, science, design and technology, but it is not one fixed gallery route. Its programme may include a longer-running interactive installation and shorter-lived exhibitions with different subjects. Read the current exhibition description and age guidance first. If only one show appeals, buy a single-exhibition ticket; a larger bundle is useful only when you want to spend the necessary time on several. An exterior photograph and an exhibition visit are two different stops on a Marina Bay day.
Understand the October 2026 numbers
The operator’s ticket page, checked 7 October 2026, listed Into the Ocean: Journey Beneath through 1 November 2026 at S$22 for a standard adult on non-peak days and S$27 on peak days. It listed teamLab Future World standard adult at S$35 non-peak and S$39 peak. The page defined peak as Friday to Sunday and Singapore public holidays. These figures are ticket-specific, not a general admission fee to every display. Prices, exhibition dates and combinations may change; choose the actual exhibition and travel date before paying.
Fit it into Marina Bay
The museum is at Marina Bay Sands, so pair it with the waterfront or Gardens by the Bay rather than a separate cross-town museum dash. One sensible sequence is an indoor exhibition in the warm part of the day, a meal break, then an outdoor bay walk when the light softens. Check whether the rest of your planned route is exposed to rain and whether you have already committed to another ticketed stop. Two long indoor attractions in one afternoon may leave too little time to enjoy either.
Who should go, and what to verify
Interactive work can be especially appealing to families, though individual exhibitions differ in sensory load, duration and age suitability. Art-focused adults should pick by the actual curatorial subject rather than the museum’s recognisable shape. The operator’s ticket and visit pages gave different daily hours when checked, so confirm the exhibition’s current entry window directly. Verify ticket inclusions, closing dates, access arrangements and current works before travelling. If the programme does not suit your interests, the nearby Civic District museums provide a different kind of art and history afternoon.
