Jewel Changi Canopy Park: what the basic ticket includes

Canopy Park is a paid Level 5 play-and-garden space within Jewel. It is useful for a family with airport time, provided you separate its basic ticket from the pricier nets, mazes and bridge.

Know what you are buying

Canopy Park is on Level 5 of Jewel, a separate landside complex connected to Changi Airport. The basic ticket includes garden paths and several playful installations: Discovery Slides, Foggy Bowls, Petal Garden and Topiary Walk. Jewel’s larger list of attractions also includes walking and bouncing nets, mazes and a bridge, but these are separate ticket choices. Read the inclusions rather than buying a bundle by its number of attractions. If the main reason for your stop is the Rain Vortex, do not assume a Canopy Park ticket is necessary for every view of it.

Hours and admission in October 2026

Jewel lists Canopy Park hours of 10am–9pm Monday to Thursday, and 10am–10pm Friday to Sunday, holiday eves and public holidays, with last entry 30 minutes before closing. Standard basic admission is S$8 per adult or child; its S$6 resident rate has eligibility rules. A child ticket is described for ages 3–12, accompanied by a paying adult. The Discovery Slides have a 110cm minimum height. Verify individual add-on attraction hours and safety rules separately, because the Canopy Park schedule does not govern every activity upstairs.

When to use an airport layover

Build the outing around your flight obligations, not the other way round. Confirm whether your bags can be checked in or stored, how you will get from your terminal to Jewel, and how much time you need to return for security and boarding. Jewel is landside, so transit passengers must check whether they can enter Singapore and have enough time to clear immigration. A departure-day visit is safest with a generous buffer; a tight connection is not an occasion to buy a timed activity.

Pair it without overspending

For a family, choose Canopy Park as the paid anchor and enjoy other publicly accessible parts of Jewel around it. If children specifically want a net or maze, price that addition against a bundle and check height requirements first. A city-based visitor with no airport buffer should compare travel time with a central park or museum; Jewel is most convenient when you are already at Changi.
