7 DAYS / FAMILY PACE
Singapore 7-day itinerary with kids
A week creates space to alternate big days with easier ones. This route gives Zoo and Bird Paradise separate outings and makes Night Safari a considered option rather than an obligation.
By sgtripify editorial · Plan revised 8 October 2026 · 7 full sightseeing days
The rhythm: Swap whole days when weather or ticket availability changes; do not compensate for a rainy morning by cramming three attractions into the next day.
Check the linked attraction guides for dated hours and admission snapshots, then confirm the operator's live calendar for your travel dates. Arrivals and departures need their own buffer; shorten a day if your flights overlap it.
SINGAPORE WITH KIDS
Adjust this family itinerary before booking
One main ticket per day
Choose the activity your children most want, then make the rest optional. Check age and height restrictions with the attraction before buying.
Keep the hotel return simple
Compare the whole walk and transfer with tired children. Our Singapore accommodation area guide helps you choose a base around the route.
Plan meals and rest
Save a nearby lunch option and a sheltered break. Carry the essentials your family needs rather than depending on a shop at every stop.
Check the airport vehicle
For a private transfer, tell the provider your passenger and luggage counts and ask about a suitable child seat. Compare options in the airport arrival guide.
DAY 01
An easy bay introduction
Morning
Take a short Marina Bay orientation and find a meal everyone can enjoy. Avoid a long outdoor circuit on the first full morning.
Afternoon
Choose a single Gardens by the Bay indoor or outdoor experience, with a seated break before moving on.
Evening
Return early, or take a gentle skyline walk if the group is still comfortable. Keep dinner close to your hotel on this first night.
DAY 02
Zoo day
Morning
Start Singapore Zoo in the morning and choose priority habitats from the current map. The park is a day’s anchor.
Afternoon
Use the tram and a real lunch break. Leave one presentation flexible because schedules and animal care can change.
Evening
Come back to the city for a simple meal and sleep; the next day is deliberately easier.
DAY 03
Fort Canning and museum play
Morning
Take a short heritage walk at Fort Canning Park in daylight. Choose the entrance carefully; NParks identifies Cox Terrace for wheelchair access.
Afternoon
Use an ArtScience exhibition or a suitable National Museum programme as the indoor anchor. Confirm the current exhibition and age guidance.
Evening
Eat near your accommodation. A half-empty afternoon is a feature of a family holiday.
DAY 04
Sentosa day
Morning
Choose Universal Studios for rides or a beach outing. Check dated hours, ride heights and any timed entry before promising specifics.
Afternoon
Keep one main booking and make time for food, shade and change of clothes as needed.
Evening
Leave Sentosa at a comfortable hour and avoid a second ticketed evening. A simple dinner near your return route is enough after a long day.
DAY 05
Bird Paradise
Morning
Use the morning for Bird Paradise’s walk-through aviaries, distinct from the Zoo’s broader animal collection. Bring the current map and plan a limited circuit.
Afternoon
Take a long break and use the included shuttle. Skip a second park if children have had enough.
Evening
For older children who can manage it, Night Safari is an optional separately priced evening with a reserved slot; otherwise return and rest.
DAY 06
Botanic Gardens and choice time
Morning
Take an unhurried garden morning. The main grounds and ticketed Orchid Garden are different decisions; choose by interest.
Afternoon
Let the children choose between a return to a favourite place and a short indoor stop. This is your rain recovery day.
Evening
Enjoy a meal near the hotel instead of another cross-city ride. Let the children choose a familiar favourite after the garden morning.
DAY 07
Choose a favourite again
Morning
Use a full final day to repeat the place your family enjoyed most or choose an easy east-side neighbourhood walk. Leave one indoor option in reserve if the weather changes.
Afternoon
Take lunch without a booking deadline. With a late flight instead of an extra overnight, Jewel Canopy Park can replace the city outing; check ticket inclusions, landside entry and terminal transfers.
Evening
Finish with a relaxed meal near your base. If you depart tonight, shorten the day and protect generous luggage, immigration and boarding time.
Turn the route into your trip
Start with accommodation and transport, then book only the attractions you would be disappointed to miss. Use the rest of the day as a flexible outline. If heavy rain or heat interrupts an outdoor block, switch to an indoor choice you already checked rather than racing between distant districts.
